Clare youngsters are Leicester City bound

leicesterThe Clare Schoolboys/Girls Soccer League step up their preparations for this years SFAI Kennedy Cup this weekend when they travel to Leicester City to train and play with and against the Premierships Academy Squads.

The Squad and Management will also be guests of Leicester City CEO Susan Whelan at the crucial Premiership Game between Leicester City entertain Newcastle United  in the battle for survival in the English Premiership.

The visit of the Clare Kennedy Cup Squad, will once again develop a Clare link to the Premiership Outfit, as up to 2013, former CSSL and Avenue Utd player Dylan Casey was a member of the English Clubs Academy.

The Clare Squad will be hoping to make a positive impression on the UK Club, and hope that the experience will be put to good use as they fine tune their preparations for the upcoming Kennedy Cup to be held at University of Limerick from June 8th to 12th.
