OLD IMAGES OF CLARE 1837 Map of Clare

clareThis map of County Clare was made in 1837, less than a decade before The Great Famine. It was drawn and engraved for the Lewis Topographical Dictionary, which contained detailed topographical accounts of places, parishes and counties in Ireland and England.
