Kilmaley Hosting Foundation Coaching Course

Underage GAA

Kilmaley will be the venue next Wednesday evening for a Foundation Coaching Course in Hurling and Camogie.

Those aged fifteen and older are invited to attend the course which will take place for three consecutive Wednesday night commencing on April 29th and finishing on May 13th. Each session will last two hours from 19:00-21:00 with Kilmaley Community Hall hosting the course.

Participants will be educated on the basic principles of working with children in sport and they will learn key drills to be used when training underage hurling and camogie teams. Agility and coordination games for children aged 5-12 will also be taught to those in attendance.

Clare GAA Coaching Officer, Ronan Keane will deliver the course and it is highly recommended for any parent/guardian with children playing hurling or camogie. The foundation course is open to all members of the public. Those wishing to become coaches at the upcoming Kellogs GAA Cúl Camps must complete the course.

To book your place contact Kilmaley Camogie club secretary Donal Hurley on 086 396 8393. The cost to enrol in the course is €20 and it is limited to thirty participants.
