Temperatures across County Clare are expected to reach 17-18c during Tuesday and Wednesday.

Met Éireann says the current fine spell of weather will continue until Thursday evening before more unsettled conditions sweep across Ireland during Friday and over the weekend as high pressure weakens and drifts into the nearby continent.

Clare has enjoyed above average temperatures and sunshine levels throughout April. However, temperatures are expected to drop considerably over the weekend.

The unsettled regime looks set to continue into next week.
