S Club 7 singer and judge on The Voice of Ireland, Rachel Stevens was in Ennis today to show her support for Scarriff singer Sarah McTernan who appears in the final of the RTE talent show this weekend.

Stevens paid a visit to Penneys where Sarah McTernan works while she also strolled around the town to encourage members of the public to cast their vote for the Clare singer next weekend.

McTernan last Sunday performed a cover of ‘Earned It’ by The Weekend, a song that is on the soundtrack to Fifty Shades of Grey. She is now one of the remaining four contestants in the show. She will face off with Kieran McKillop from Ballymena who is also on Team Rachel, Dublin’s Patrick Donoghue and nineteen year old Emma Humber. Kian Egan will have no act in the final.

According to Paddy Power, Clare’s remaining contestant is the underdog at 5/1. Team Una’s Patrick Donoghue is the bookies favourite while Emma Humber a member of Team Bressie is given odds of 5/2 and Kieran McKillop is ranked as the third place favourite at 4/1. The Grand Final takes place next Sunday in The Helix and a call is being towards the people of the Banner to get behind their only act and pick up the phones and vote for Sarah when the lines open during Sunday’s live show.
