A wind warning is in place for County Clare this evening and overnight.

Met Éireann says westerly winds will reach mean speeds of 50-60 km/h, gusting to 90-105 km/h in many areas.

The outlook for the coming days is for our weather to remain unsettled with strong winds and further rain each day.

The weekend is looking brighter however, with high pressure expected to build over Ireland during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
