Carrigaholt Oyster and Trad Festival details announced

CKP_Food_Aboutus-710x270The Carrigaholt Oyster and Traditional Music Festival, a lively festival on The Loop Head Peninsula in County Clare will feature a celebration of Irish traditional music and Irish Gigas Oysters this May.

Taking place from May 1st to May 3rd, this year’s festival line up includes a number of local and international music  acts, including Áine Heslin who will be performing tunes from her recent album “The Tunes Foundry”.

The Martin Gilmore trio from Denver Colorado will be joining the festival on the first date of their Irish Tour. The festival will include a number of open sessions throughout the weekend led by many local musicians.

Seafood events such as The Shellfish and Craft Beer night will be happening throughout the weekend, while the highlight for food lovers will be the open air food market on Sunday 3rd May.
