New arts centre for Clarecastle to open in May

A new Arts and Crafts centre for Clarecastle will officially open in May 2015.

The centre will compliment a new Antiques Centre (the old Coach House public house and the adjoining building) which will include a coffee shop and house a number of antique dealers with a large variety of stock.

The project has received the support of the major bus tour operators and it will be a stopping point for most of the buses along the western corridor (Wild Atlantic Way).

The developers told The Clare Herald they are interested in hearing from artists and craftworkers wwishing to supply stock or renting a work area. There are a limited number of work areas available and applications will be accepted from arts and crafts workers throughout Ireland.

If interested please contact Paul Walsh at 8144030.
