A series of beach clean ups will take place in the Kilrush next week.

The clean-ups, which are being held in conjunction with An Taisce and Clean Coast Ireland, will take place on Good Friday April 3th at 10am at Ballymacrinnan Bay / Moneypoint Beach on the Killimer coast road and on Saturday April 4th at 10am on Aylevaroo Beach.

“By volunteering a half hour of your time, your personal effort will make the difference to making our shoreline a cleaner and more pleasurable place to visit.  Volunteers are advised to wear appropriate clothing on the day,” stated local volunteer Caroline Coleman.
