Clare basks in spring sunshine

Europe_2_01.2015080.aqua.250mSunday is set to bring further dry, bright weather across County Clare following the warmest day of the year so far.

Mercury levels reached 13c at Shannon Airport on Saturday with the County enjoying clear skies and warm spells of sunshine.

This satellite image from MODIS/NASA shows Munster from space at midday on Saturday.

Conditions are expected to turn less settled and cooler next week.
