Tulla Utd A 1-0 Ennis Town A
Tulla A team had a hard fought 1 nil victory over Ennis Town at the Cragg, Tulla on Sunday. The 2 teams were very evenly matched with only a brilliant individual effort from Sebastiao da Silva separating the teams. Both teams had their periods of dominance throughout the 90 minutes before Da Silva latched onto a pin point through ball from Colin Nelson. Sebastiao showed great composure to commit the defender and goalkeeper and poke the ball past the 2 of them.

With chances at a premium, it proved the difference between the 2 sides. Ennis Town to their credit pushed forward and had shouts for a penalty turned away but never looked likely to equalise in the remaining 10 minutes. Tulla’s recent good form continues. Gary Greene and Joe Collins played well for Ennis Town. Colin Nelson, Aaron Lane and Sebastiao da Silva played well for Tulla and the back four worked well to keep another clean sheet.

Tulla Utd A: Christy O’Brien, Eoin Ryan, Ray Bane, Daragh Corry, Gary Hogan, Aaron Lane, David O’Brien, Shane McNamara, Colin Nelson, Sunny Jay, Sebastiao da Silva. Subs: Tommy McKeown for Jay, Daire Hannon for Lane, Alan Leamy for da Silva
