Three-way tie in Mid West Alliance strokeplay

golfThe first round of the 54 holes Titleist sponsored Mid West Alliance strokeplay got underway last Sunday at Dromoland.

Despite the atrocious weather former South Of Ireland Champion Pat Murray Limerick G.C tied first with locals Nicky Duggan and Seanie Burns on 75 gross.

In the 4-9 handicap category defending champion and former Clare All-Ireland winning hurler Alan Neville Dromoland leads with an 80 gross by 1 shot from David Casey Dromoland.

A dozen Pro V’s for nearest the pins on the 3rd was Brian McMahon Dromoland, 7th Nicky Duggan Dromoland,  13th Jason O’Leary Dromoland and David Carroll Adare Manor on the 17th.

The second round is on March 15th.
