Scenes from Lahinch, as photographed between1865 and 1914 by Robert French for The Lawrence Photograph Collection. Robert French was the chief photographer responsible for photographing three quarters of the Lawrence Collection.

Lahinch is a small town on Liscannor Bay, on the northwest coast of County Clare. The village is a seaside resort and is home to the renowned Lahinch Golf Club. It has also become a popular surfing location.

  1. Excellent selections of Old Lahinch. Personally I have large selections of Clare postcards, which include Lawrence and local photographers. Do keep up this work and continue to other towns and villages in Clare !!!! Thank you. DL
